UAE plans nuclear power reactor

THE United Arab Emirates plans to build a nuclear power reactor, a foreign ministry official said yesterday.
"Nuclear power is proving an option that the UAE can't ignore because it's cost competitive," Hamad al-Kaabi said.

It'll be interesting to see if the war criminals Bush and Maggie Broon get their knickers in a knot about this. Will they be demnanding sanctions against the UAE now? Will Bush, or his paid thugs, the Israelis, be threatening to attack them? I think we should be told.

If they do build nuclear power plants however ... surely they'd become targets for terrorists?
