Two die as French airliner crashes

AN Airbus A320 passenger plane crashed off the coast of southern France during a maintenance flight yesterday afternoon, killing at least two of the seven people on board.
Officials said the Air New Zealand plane plunged into the Mediterranean Sea 12 miles east of the city of Perpignan.
