Shuttle shut-down ends space tourism

RUSSIA announced a halt to space tourism yesterday, as it will need more capacity to send crews to the International Space Station when the United States mothballs its shuttle fleet this year.
As the ISS crew is raised to six, Russia – which sends crews on one-use three-man Soyuz ships – will double the manned launches to four this year.
