Obama makes Christmas visits

US president-elect Barack Obama visited US military families while they ate Christmas dinner, thanking them for their service and posing for pictures.
Mr Obama visited Marine Corps Base Hawaii near his rented holiday home and briefly chatted with enlisted members who ate turkey, ham and roast beef.

#2 would have been nicer had he gone back to Germany and visited the wounded troops, that he decided NOT to see while there on the campaign trail, because the press was not allowed to go with him.. They were with him this time.. could have made up for the bad decision he made at that time.

I think you'll find Obama is a very busy man. When the Bush recession is hitting home hard the last place we need Obama is in another country, that's only logical, maybe not for you though.

He is not the President yet, he is just "PEBO" President Elect Barack Obama.

He is the President Elect because during the primaries Democrats were voting for McCain to throw the election and then toward the end Republicans during operation Chaos were voting for Hillary. The US needs to fix several loop hole states so it would have been between the better candidates of Hillary Clinton & Mitt Romney. No one was more shocked that Obama when he started winning states.
