Neighbours flee after toxic fumes suicide

Japan: Police evacuated 34 people from an apartment building in Kanazawa where a man apparently committed suicide by mixing chemicals and inhaling the fumes.

Police were called to the scene early today after a resident found a sign on the door of an apartment warning of dangerous gas emissions.

Pakistan: A bomb exploded in a music shop in the city of Kohat today, wounding three people, one of them seriously, police and witnesses said.
