ZIMBABWE president Robert Mugabe yesterday handed the country's only Olympic medallist in Beijing a $100,000 cash reward for her performance at the games.
US-based swimmer Kirsty Coventry smashed the world record to win gold in the women's 200 metres backstroke. She also captured three silver medals.

Mugabe gave not one red cent. It was probably aid monies given by gullible westerners concerned at the plight of the poor folk of Zimbabwe.That or money extorted from others, or confiscated.
