Miners trapped in pit after methane blast

Kazakhstan: Five coal miners were trapped in a mine today following a methane explosion.
There were no reported injuries. Rescue workers are at the site trying to bring the miners to the surface.

A total of 95 miners were evacuated after the blast ripped through the Tentekskaya coal mine due to a sudden release of gas at the pit.

Nepal: The ancestral home of the country's deposed monarch King Gyanendra has been turned into a museum.
