Why just a few lines of this report? When it is proven that Iran's nuclear ambitions are solely to generate electricity, will your report extend to more than three?

This is going to make the war criminal Bush even more paranoid.

So much for the test launch photographs being faked. Presumably Iran only did this to help the US tie up their missile defence deal with Poland and the Czech Republic.

I am on both sides of the fence on Iran & nuclear but I do think this story far more important than being buried in 1 paragraph.

I am against Iran having nuclear weapons because Dinnerjacketseems to be a bit of an untrustworthy nut, though they do have an unambiguous legal right & good economic reasons to produce nuclear electricity .

On the other hand I am against the US being able to stop them because they are certainly untrustworthy nuts who shouldn't be allowed such weaponry either.

Wow! Lots of sour grapes, strange relationships, and curious conclusions already. The most important thing to understand is that this is no big deal. Here are some examples: Iraq launched a satellite on December 5, 1989, almost twenty years ago for the hard of counting, making it the tenth nation able to launch to orbit. India launched their satellite almost 30 years ago. By the way the Iraqi satellite was the entire third staged which weighed

48 tons. and this was a quarter century ago. The Iranian satellite weighs in at a hefty 44 pounds. Sheesh!

And most of that weight is the prayer mat that the sat popped out when it went into orbit. The sat is in geostationary orbit above Mecca and trasmits 'Allah Hu Akbar' 5 times a day.
