Hundreds hurt in earthquake in China

AT LEAST 336 people were injured yesterday and 10,000 homes collapsed as a magnitude-6.0 earthquake struck north-east China.
The quake was followed by eight aftershocks. Officials sent 4,500 tents and other relief materials to the disaster zone. Hundreds of police were also dispatched.
