BRITONS driving in France face the highest motoring charges in the eurozone, a survey shows.
UK holidaymakers would have to pay twice as much to hire and drive a car in France for one day than they would in Holland, Cyprus, Spain or Belgium, the survey from Post Office travel services found.

Have you ever seen the average Brit trying to drive a left-hooker on the right hand side of the road? It is pitiful---and downright embarrassing to behold.

Compared with the standard of driving in most of mainland Europe, the way that many Brits dither, dawdle and generally drive with their thumbs up their b*ms and brains in neutral is pathetic.

Maybe if our stupid labour govenment started acknowledging that the vast majority of crashes are NOT caused by excessive speed and started focusing on improvement of driver skill rather than sticking to an arbitary (and generally too low) speed limit, then people like the French wouldn't see the need to slap a surcharge onto British drivers.
