Gunmen killed seven people from a single family when they stormed into their home in northern Iraq today.
A woman, her husband and their adult children were shot dead in the midnight attack in the town of Sinjar, west of Mosul.

The family were members of the minority Yazidi sect, viewed as infidels by al-Qaida.
