Greek island rocked by earthquake

Greece: Authorities say an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.7 has struck in western Greece. There have been no immediate reports of injuries or serious damage.
Athens Geodynamic Institute said the undersea quake struck at 07:25am near the island of Zakynthos.

• Pakistan: The government has averted a potentially destabilising coalition split by abandoning a bid to get parliamentary approval for an amnesty from graft charges for senior politicians.
