CYPRUS'S Greek Cypriot president said yesterday he was upset that a British veterans group chose the island's Turkish Cypriot north for a memorial.
Dimitris Christofias said the monument to 371 servicemen killed during Greek Cypriot resistance to British colonial rule in the 1950s could have been built in Britain instead.
