Chavez troops sent to Colombia border

PRESIDENT Hugo Chavez's Venezuelan government is sending 15,000 soldiers to the border with Colombia, claiming the force will increase security, combat drug-trafficking and root out paramilitary groups.
Shootings involving troops and gunmen have heightened tension between the countries.
