Puerto Rico: A four-year-old boy accidentally killed himself with his police officer mother's gun as she dropped her children off at school in San Juan.
The gun is said to have fallen between the two front seats of the car and the boy picked it up and shot himself in the face.

Thailand: Leaders of a long protest were bailed after surrendering to police on charges of inciting unrest, leaving them free to continue their five-month campaign to unseat the government.
