PETA does a lot to raise awareness of animal abuses and animal rights...its methods are somewhat unorthodox at times but they do get people's attention...for example, a lot more people are aware of the barbaric fur farming industry in China...where dogs, cats and foxes etc are throttled, abused and some skinned alive...the video is online should you care to watch it....

I'll agree with Horrible Cankers that PETA do get peoples' attention but then, so do mosquitos.

In this case I think PETA was being presumptious. If God didn't mean us to eat cows then why did he make them taste like meat?

The problem with people like Peta is that they spew so much cr@p that no one takes them seriously on the real issues. It dilutes the message when they could be doing something worthwile.
