Aid worker gets 45-year jail term

A BURMESE military court sentenced comedian and activist Zarganar, whose real name is Maung Thura, to 45 years in prison yesterday for co-ordinating private aid in Rangoon for the victims of Cyclone Nargis.
The cyclone killed 140,000 people when it struck in May.

True enough double dog, but will public pressure help get Bush hauled in front of the international courts, for it seems that with the Bush administration the criminals get rewarded.
Unfortunately double dog, Myanmar is run by a truly evil military system and the rest of the world sits back and could care less, and sad as that may be it is the truth and it won't change any time soon.

On a happier note, congrats to your son and him getting married, we will soon call you granpa double dog, it's got a nice ring to it.
