THE disappearance of rare whisky which went missing somewhere between Edinburgh Airport and the US is being investigated by the FBI.
The 31 cases of Highland Park Single Cask whisky, worth around £120,000, disappeared almost a year ago while being exported to the US.

And it is being reported that the FBI and the US Customs and Borders Protection Unit are still probing the matter.

The whisky had been transported from Glasgow to Edinburgh Airport, but at some point between there, Atlanta and a connecting flight to Los Angeles, the 186 bottles vanished.

There is a little known island in the Atlantic where the cargo was unloaded. The docket that went on, should have read 31 crates ... and now reads 1 bottle!

Thank you Highland Park ... it wis a rerr pairty! (hic!) :D
