Site vandals 'putting their safety at risk'
YOUNGSTERS suspected of carrying out repeated incidents of vandalism at an industrial site in Armadale have been warned they are putting their lives at risk
Police and business owners at Carradale Brickworks, Lower Bathville, raised the concerns after a recent spate of vandalism to site machinery and buildings.
This included youngsters smashing windows in the buildings and setting small fires. It is estimated they have caused almost £4,500 worth of damage.
As well as being illegal, police have admitted they are very concerned about the safety of the children that appear to be involved.
The brickworks is a large site filed with industrial machinery and building tools, and the youngsters were warned they were putting themselves in danger with their reckless behaviour.
Anyone with information is requested to contact Armadale Police Station on 01506 730219, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
