A POST mortem has been carried out on the body of a baby girl found dead at a property in Bathgate, West Lothian, on Saturday morning.
Lothian and Borders Police are still investigating the "unexplained" death of the girl, thought to be around one week old.

A spokeswoman said previously that the death was not violent, but the post-mortem has not as yet ascertained the exact cause of death, according to police.

A number of additional tests are now being carried out, but it will be some time before the full results are known.

The baby's body has been released back to the family.
