A SPECTACULAR jousting tournament will be held at Linlithgow Palace next month.
The medieval clash between armour-clad knights on horseback will take place on 11-12 July, but unlike knights of old, the action will be accompanied by a dramatic musical soundtrack.

There will also be combat displays, archery, falconry, and a living history encampment.

Historic Scotland's Nick Finnigan said: "Linlithgow Palace used to be the preserve of the royal family and their special guests, but this spectacular show is open for everyone to enjoy."
