Fancy dress contest suits winner to a T

QUICK-THINKING former footballer Stephen Payne is enjoying T in the Park after trying his luck at a fancy dress competition.
Stephen, 24, who played for Aberdeen and now works as a recruitment consultant in the Capital, simply turned his suit back to front.

The competition was being held at The George Hotel, in George Street, yesterday.

However, to his amazement he was the only candidate and picked up four tickets to the music festival for his inspired efforts.

He plans to take his brother Shaun Paul Payne, fiancée Sarah Todd, and best friend Karen Thomas.

Mr Payne, from Livingston, said: "I just turned my suit inside out so I would look strange at least."
