No wonder British universities have become a worldwide laughing stock.

Eric D, I agree, and yet the 'traditional universities are still turning out high quality graduates. When u c (joke) a university offering courses like this, and you are looking for a suitable placement - steer clear.

Perhaps I am not being fair to the 'modern' university. For example, Stirling is in the British top ten for quality of education.

I am afraid that because of the variations in standards, choosing the right establishment is like choosing double glazing.

May I take this opportunity to say that the new Scotsman site design is atrocious.

The bloke who planned this course should be shaken, not stirred.
We have this sort of thing at colleges over here, too.

Perhaps the study will identify whether S. Connery that figurehead of the SNP lives in Scotland and pays tax there or lives abroad and how many passports he has.

Course like these should be allowed, this area should be a breif small part of a degree in media studies at the very most. What models are going to make this up. BUT then again the artcle doesn't acutly say it's a degree or it's full time. It could be a 6 or 12months, one or two night a week(at least I hope it is.)

Or
May be this course is a cover up name for a degree about the MI5 or 6 or what ever they call them selfs.
