PASSENGERS on a German train mistook a Halloween reveller dressed as a gore-covered zombie for a murder victim and called the police.
The 24-year-old man fell into a drunken slumber on his way home from a party in Hamburg, police in the northern town of Bad Segeberg said yesterday.

Believing his hands and face were smeared with blood, passengers alerted police after getting no response from him. A first-aid team called to the scene soon cleared up the confusion. Police told the man to remove his make-up, after which he was allowed to continue his journey.

Silke Tobies, a police spokeswoman, said: "Bad Segeberg is in a rural area and Halloween isn't very well known there, so people weren't expecting anyone to be dressed up in the train."

#4 & #5 - Miss Pixie and Jennifer

Thanks for stumbling across the point, although I'm not sure that you understand how you did.

The article IS GERMAN, that's the point! If this article would be about Americans doing the same thing, it would have generated dozens of 'boy, American's are dumb' comments.

Since it isn't, it's not useful to the 'anti-American crowd and has drawn 6 comments, 66% of which are yours and mine.

In fact, if I hadn't posted the first one you and Jennifer wouldn't have responded - and there would have been only 2 comments!

Generally, unless an article in the 'International' section can serve anti-American purposes, it will not be commented on. For proof, take a look at this link:

Do you see what I'm saying?
