Giant rat found in remote jungle

RESEARCHERS in a remote jungle in Indonesia have discovered a giant rat and a tiny possum that are apparently new to science, underscoring the stunning biodiversity of the south-east Asian nation.
"The giant rat is about five times the size of a typical city rat," said scientist Kristofer Helgen. "It has no fear of humans."

Might this be Sir Arthur Conan Doyles "Giant Rat of Sumatra"?
I saw another news article stating this animal was found near Jakarta, which is in the same general area.
