"Waves higher than houses". What kind of a warning is that ?
Is that great muckle sky-scraping houses, or wee tottie tattie-pickers' houses ? We need to be told.
To be sure.

I presume that "higher than houses" means waves ranging from anything over 25 feet in height, up to infinity in height.

The forecast was indeed for 14m swells, but this did not happen where i am. The wind changed direction just as high tide hit which lessened its impact. Never the less we did get between 9 and 13m swells. Low lying areas were swamped and the pier at Enniscrone was covered from time to time. I took some pics as i was on the head of the pier, very frightening!
