REPUBLICAN presidential hopeful John McCain's age (71) has provided late-night TV comedians with some easy punchlines. On the Saturday Night Live TV show at the weekend he joined in.
"I ask you, what should we be looking for in our next president?" Mr McCain said.

"Certainly, someone who is very, very old. I have the courage, the wisdom, the experience and, importantly, the oldness necessary."

I don't support McCain. But McCain is very good at telling jokes. He could work as a comedian.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/107407/Obama-Surge-Fairly-BroadBased.aspx

Gallup has a poll out today. They're saying that Obama has pulled away from Clinton decisively. I think that Oregon & Kentucky are voting today. Oregon will go for Obama and Kentucky for Clinton. But Obama is getting out-of-reach now and the end of the race for the democrat nomination is near.

what these new gallup results mean is that if party leaders arrange for Clinton to win, there will be a lot of unhappy democrat voters.

The republicans are sooo unpopular. People are looking forward to a big democrat win in November even if they don't like the democrats.

But an unfortunate pattern in US politics has been that the people who rule us throw the presidency back & forth between the 2 parties and each ends up serving the same agenda.
