Woman’s wig hid drug stash

A BRITISH woman has admitted smuggling drugs into Norway under her wig.
Customs officials found what is thought to have been 2.2lb of cocaine under the hairpiece when the 32-year-old arrived at Vaernes airport, near Trondheim.
The woman, whose name has not been released, has been held since her arrest on 15 June and is likely to face two to three years in jail.
A customs officer noticed she had “a lot of hair”. He investigated and found a bag containing the drug glued to her head under the wig.
