Paedophile jailed for worst child-porn collection ever

A PAEDOPHILE found with the worst child-porn collection ever recovered by police was jailed indefinitely yesterday.

Convicted child rapist Arthur Morley's collection of pictures and videos, taken from the internet, included newborn babies and toddlers being raped.

The material was so extreme it shocked even the toughest officers in the Met's paedophile unit, London's Southwark Crown Court heard.

Peter Zinner, prosecuting, said the cries of the babies would "haunt" both him and the officers them "for years to come".

Morley, who had previous convictions for rape and indecent assault against children and was a registered sex offender, used a false name, false address and an internet café to try to avoid detection.

Morley, 64, of Middlesex, pleaded guilty to 50 counts of distributing, making and possessing hundreds indecent images of children.
