Muslim peer slams forced marriage

FORCED marriages are not a culturally sensitive issue but an abhorrent act, a Tory Muslim peer said today.
Baroness Warsi, shadow minister for community cohesion and social action, has called for such marriages to be treated as crimes to send a clear signal that they are intolerable.

About time somebody put their head above the parapet. Now, all that is needed is for several hundred men of influence in UK Muslim society to follow suit publicly.
