Martin under fire over police raid of MP's office

COMMONS Speaker Michael Martin was under pressure from MPs today to explain why police were allowed to raid the parliamentary office of Tory frontbencher Damian Green.
Amid speculation anger could erupt into protest, his office announced that he would make a statement on Wednesday when the House returned for the State Opening of the new session.
