Laughing gas medic struck off

A PARAMEDIC has been struck off for inhaling laughing gas in the back of an ambulance while on duty.
Richard Sanders, who was based in Llantwit Major with the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust, was discovered by colleagues lying on a stretcher self-administering Entonox.

There's nothing funny about laughing gas, except the name, and the way it makes you feel, and getting caught taking hits in the back of an ambulance.

Years back during the Angolan war a few of us passed some time by having a series of masks connected to a happy gas bottle. I still chuckle thinking about it. It was hysterical. (took the mind off other things for a while and for a moment we actually felt good)
