ACTOR Christopher Lambert’s fake Scots accent in Highlander has been voted the worst in cinema history. His attempts won the disapproval of 42 per cent of those quizzed in a poll out today.
Mel Gibson came second as William Wallace in Braveheart, in the www.AsWornIn.com survey. Several respondents had their votes discounted after nominating Sean Connery – who is a Scot.

Mr Canary played a spanish egyptian with a scottish accent in Highlander. His Irish accent in the untouchables was also very convincing.

I know it's not the movies, but the guy who does the ginger haired janitor on the Simpsons must win the prize for the best comical Scots accent ever. The episode where he returned to his homeland and found the Loch Ness Monster was a classic.

Any American, on any medium or any other situation trying to do an 'amusing' Scottish accent is, you will find' a hundred times worse than Chris Lambert.
