DAVID Cameron yesterday accused Gordon Brown of "hiding in his bunker" in the final sprint to the Crewe and Nantwich by-election.
The Conservative leader taunted the Prime Minister in the Commons at Prime Minister's Questions by highlighting predecessor Tony Blair's refusal to stay away from by-election campaigns.

Mr Cameron said Mr Blair "led from the front" in by-elections, while Mr Brown did not have the "courage" to explain his policies in person. He asked: "Hasn't the Prime Minister put himself in his bunker?"

Meanwhile, in a further blow to Mr Brown yesterday, Brendan Barber, the general-secretary of the TUC, said New Labour needed to "reconfigure its DNA".

Oh rubbish. I forgot that he would be coming back to Scotland. Can't he go into Welsh politics instead?

Looking forward to reading about the hammering he and his lying party recieve in the by-election.

Hope that UKIP do well. Gordon will hate that.

It may be the Tories who are hiding in a bunker soon after they accidentally emailed voting intentions of 8000 electors to a Manx radio station!

They could end up in pretty hot water for that, accident or no accident.

Poor old Gordon.....Tony's done a runner, and he's left to carry the can.

Still, Gordon will ignore minor set backs like Crewe and carry on imposing new taxes until everyones' pockets are empty.......
