TWO Fathers 4 Justice campaigners were this morning staging a rooftop protest at the home of Labour Party deputy leader Harriet Harman.
The protesters were dressed as superheroes Batman and Spiderman.

It is the second time in little over a month the group has staged a protest at Ms Harman's home in Herne Hill, south London.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said police were called at 6.22am and officers were in attendance. It is not known if Ms Harman was at home when the incident began.

Last month two protesters, Jolly Stanesby and Mark Harris, both from south Devon, sparked a serious review of security around the Labour deputy leader, and Minister for Women and Equality, when they scaled the roof of her home dressed as superheroes.

The pair unfurled a banner with the words: "A father is for life, not just conception."

Mr Stanesby spent more than 24 hours on the Cabinet minister's roof in a protest that began on June 8 and ended the next day.

Ms Harman will doubtless continue to be targetted by this pressure group as long as she continues to peddle policies that are contrary to the maintenance of the family unit, and which seek to promote single parenting, gay relationships etc - indeed everything that flies in the face of normality and morality.

She has brought it upon herself.

#2 - that was a fairly idiotic comment.

Harman's support of discrimination and her incompetence over the secrecy in family courts (despite her empty rhetoric of improving things) makes her a legitimate target of non violent protest.

These guys are nutters. Stewarty's homophobic, misogynistic remarks show exactly why they are awful people. How is intimitading amd disrupting Ms Harman's family (not to mention her neighbours) a sign of anything other than they are bullies and thugs?

If they check out the slates and flashings while they're up there, will they get let off?

The present Labour government's family policy is responsible for over 400,000 children being denied contact with one of their parents by the family court, often for no reason other than the resident parents behaviour will be damaging and detrimental to the child, not the behaviour of the parent who has been denied contact.

Ms Harman's avowed policy of inequality to promote equality and her stated view that families don't need fathers have caused her to be targeted by groups such as F4J.

A wealth of research shows us that children parented by 1 parent are more likely to commit suicide, suffer mental health problems, self harm, lack self-esteem and underachieve at school, behave antisocially and commit crime and they are, according to one recent piece of research, 100 times more likely to be murdered than children who are parented by both of their parents. Parents do not need to live together but they do need to work together to enhance the wellbeing of their children.

Our children and our society are suffering enormously as a result of family policies championed by Ms Harman and our secret family court system and this needs to change quicky before more lives are destroyed.

Often those who are desperate feel they have no choice but to protest peacefully and highlight the issues, especially when MP's like Ms Harman refuse to listen to them.

Harriet Harman, like other feminazi politicians, has constantly ignored the best interest of the child and has refused to listen to fathers when all else has failed ie, courts, mediation, contact centres etc... Poltiticians like her will continue to be the target of non violent, peaceful protest until our abusive, secret family courts are open to public and press scutiny.Ask youself this, what would you do for your children, what wouldn't you do?

Batman inhabits 'the DC universe', Spiderman inhabits 'the Marvel universe'. They should not be on the same roof. F4J should either replace Spiderman with Superman (presumably WonderWoman is a no-no) or replace Batman with Wolverine or the Hulk.

Such a lack of attention to detail could seriously scar children. Geeks have kids too.

please go sign the petition about and we can all then
see what actually happens in the secret family courts.

And I bet they cannot see why their ex-wives and perhaps children might not want anything to do with them?

Unable to acknowledge personal boundaries? Unable to judge when their actions might not be considered appropriate?

No! Good Heavens! It can't be us at fault! Can it?

I believe that the outfits are quite, how do I say it politely........stupid, because they are getting the wrong publicity for what they are looking to acheave. The cause is right, but they need to change the method of the message. Why not just sell shirts, that tell everyone what you want them to know. Make the shirts funny in character, of a politician giving woman free guns, to shoot their husbands, while the politician is saying OK to womans rights in North America !
