RAIL watchdog Passenger Focus has warned track operator Network Rail to keep to its schedule of works over the Easter bank holiday weekend.
Thousands of travellers are expected to be on the move to and from the Capital, despite planned engineering works along the main rail routes.

Anthony Smith, Passenger Focus chief executive, said: "Passengers recognise the works are necessary for delivering improvements to their service.

"As long as they are able to easily access information and plan their journeys, they will be more understanding. However, Network Rail must complete work on schedule."
