FEW people can doubt that there are many ethical issues that arise in the modern practice of medicine.
Equally, few doctors and nurses have much in the way of training in ethics, although that is changing. This means that healthcare professionals may face dilemmas every day that they are poorly equipped to deal with, even although someone has to.
