Environment award boost for primary
PUPILS at Pirniehall Primary have helped earn a Green Flag Award recognising the school's eco-credentials.
The award is judged on a range of factors from the school commitment to recycling to how many paper towels are used.
The school set up an eco-committee of children and teachers to monitor levels of waste and report back.
Headteacher Mary Ryan-Gillespie said: "These things aren't just given out and the children have worked very hard."
