TRANSLATING a big book into a short play isn’t easy, and Wonderland Productions’ take on Pratchett’s entertaining vision of cops and dragons is high on energy and low on detail.
The acting is over-earnest, the orang-utan is funky and the newly inserted cultural references (The Matrix and Dirty Harry) are depressingly predictable.
The whole show adds up to a threadbare but fun piece of theatre.
