Mobiqa seals gig ticket sale deal

MOBIQA, the Edinburgh-based virtual ticketing specialist, has secured a deal with Ticketportal that is set to "revolutionise the gig-going experience" for live events across eastern Europe.
The two firms have teamed up to provide a mobile ticketing service for fans attending selected music, theatre, party, festival and sports events in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland.

Mobiqa chief executive Nick Rankin said: "We're delighted to be working with Ticketportal in providing this solution."
