My American experience shows that Scotland's colleges still lead the way

LAST week I was among a group of eight principals from Scotland's colleges to attend the Association of American Community Colleges Conference in Philadelphia. We were there to share best practice and common experiences with our American colleagues.

This sounds like the way forward for all our Colleges but what is 'quality provision' and how do we recognise and achieve it?

I don't think we are the best but judging by a silly little conference its not a good way of judging really considering how vast this country is. Now if he had spent a few years over here I would respect his findings. I was just poking fun at Mr. McKENZIE's smugness.

Do you also know how many principals attended the 'silly little conference' Beth?

Do you also know how much time Mr McKenzie has spent in the USA?

How many parents do the 'home-school' in your country? I wonder why that is!
