Standard Life's new director

STANDARD Life International has appointed a qualified actuary as a new non-executive director.
The Edinburgh-based company has confirmed that Colm Fagan, founder of Life Strategies, one of Ireland's better-known independent consulting actuary firms, has taken on the position.

Mr Holm is a member of the Irish Premier's international insurance group and chairs its Solvency II sub-committee. He is a former president of the Society of Actuaries of Ireland.
