SIR Paul McCartney has backed a campaign to stop the closure of a post office near one of his homes. He was to have a message read today by his brother outside the post office in Lower Heswall, the Wirral, which could be axed.
Sir Paul's brother Mike, 63, said: "We have both had our homes here for over 40 years. This is his, and my, local."

#1 I assume he has popped along every week since this June to pick up his pension. And Mike has probably cashed his Giro there every fortnight since "Lily the Pink" dropped out of the charts.
