New chief takes the helm at MI5

THE new head of MI5 takes over today at a time of unprecedented public focus on the Security Service.
Counter-terrorism expert Jonathan Evans, currently MI5's deputy director-general, replaces Dame Eliza Manningham-Buller, who is retiring after five years at the head of the service.
