A BURST pipe that caused a waterfront pub to close for three days has now been fixed, says Scottish Water.
The problem, which took engineers days to address, provoked the fury of the bar manager at the Old Chain Pier in Newhaven, who said he lost a lot of custom and had almost seen his bar flooded.

A Scottish Water spokesman said yesterday: "We have performed a permanent repair on a burst pipe outside the Old Chain Pier pub. A clean-up squad has also been to the site."
