Prison training hailed a success
TRAINING in hairdressing, catering and literacy is transforming prisoners' lives, according to a report yesterday.
A review of "learning, skills and employability" in Scotland's jails found inmates taking part in schemes received a confidence boost and improved their chances of getting a job when released.
