Ryanair is total pants

The on line booking is awful
the form defaults to adding lots of optional extras
(things that are included with other airlines)
now they charge extra for booking in,
and for luggage
double if you don't book the booking in in advance
the allowance is only 15Kg
there is no seat reservations
there is no seat pocket
the seats don't recline at all
the staff are surly at best, and often officious
you have to suffer inflight announcements from some bint with a voice like a chainsaw going through corrugated iron.
who then tries to sell you a scratch card and some Lidls perfume.
It costs you extra to get into town at your destination because they land at some hick airstrip miles from any where.

AND THEY ARE NOT EVEN CHEAPER

Boycot them, Globespan do Pisa from Edinburgh.
Much more civilised.

Aye Hick airports right enough...Paris - Beauvais, I used to live near Beauvais, it's nearly 85 km from Paris.
Frankfurt (Hanau) - 100 km from Frankfurt - best part of that, was seeing an advert on the screen for airport hotels, as I was booking. Upon closer examination, and only after checking very carefully, did the penny drop, that the "airport" hotel being advertised was for a hotel by the Frankfurt's MAIN International airport, 100 km away.
What a farce.....
