Hunt ends for Scot eaten by crocodile

POLICE yesterday suspended the search for a Scottish-born man feared to have been eaten by a crocodile in northern Queensland.
Arthur Booker, 62, vanished after he left a campsite to check crab pots on the banks of the Endeavour River near Cooktown on Tuesday.

Environmental officers began laying crocodile traps yesterday.
