A FAMILY centre is to be given cash to help launch an interactive service for users.
Dr Bell’s Family Centre in Leith will be given more than £3000 to buy a computer and software to produce a programme which parents can use to improve relationships with their children.
The Video Interaction Guidance service will “enable parents to positively explore their interaction with their child through video analysis and help them to gain confidence in their own parenting practice,” the centre said.
It is understood the system will be used on home visits by staff at the centre.
