THOUSANDS more homes and businesses will soon be able to access broadband for the first time, Jim Mather, the enterprise minister, said yesterday.
Avanti Caledonian Broadband has been awarded a Scottish Government contract worth up to £3.3 million to extend affordable broadband services.

Scotland does better for people in rural areas than the USA does when it comes to broadband. Many of my friends still have dial up.

Good for him. I'm not sure how many other people in the SNP understand the importance of such things.

Boy Wonder can you name anything which should not be free. Can you also say what taxes you are paying that should be introduced to pay for it (& for the government tax collecting & administration charges that would inevitable be needed). Idiot.
